Rudolph and Spencer

Rudolph and Spencer chat and tease each other from their little red and green house, a pair of talking reindeer who tell a Christmas story in two voices. You can add new stories, even ones written for you, so families have a reason to come back and visit them over the festive season.

The right answers to your questions

Are Rudolph and Spencer for hire or for sale?

Rudolph and Spencer can be hired for the Christmas season or bought outright, with a 2-year warranty. To keep it valid, the control unit and the whole system must be inspected only by Menart-authorised operators.

Tell us where you would like the two reindeer to chat and for how long, and we will prepare your quote.

What kind of spaces suit Rudolph and Spencer?

Rudolph and Spencer are designed for indoor spaces, with IP54 certification, and must be stored at temperatures between 10 and 25 °C. With a few adjustments they can sometimes go outdoors: ask Menart via the form at the bottom of the page.

They fit in the hall of a Christmas fair, a hotel lobby or a toy shop, wherever children can stop and listen to them.

Do Rudolph and Spencer come with their little house?

Yes, the Rudolph and Spencer set includes the two animatronic reindeer, the little house they look out of, the control unit, the push-button panel and the sound system. The reindeer move their mouths, heads and eyelids, and the story starts with a single command from the push-button panel.

How big is Rudolph and Spencer’s house?

Rudolph and Spencer are each 160 cm tall with a 70 cm base, and their house is 250 cm wide, 60/90 cm deep and 320.3 cm high. The reindeer hook onto brackets 120 cm above the crossbar and 60 cm from the uprights, and the public must be kept at least 150 cm away, behind a fence. They run on 12 V and 220 V, and assembly is quick and simple with the manual and video instructions.

Are Rudolph and Spencer suitable for a Christmas village?

Yes, Rudolph and Spencer look as if they have always lived in a Christmas village, because their house with its snowy roofs blends in with the market stalls and the lights along the trail.
