Penguins
The Penguins are three animatronic penguins made in Italy who chat with each other like fellow explorers and then strike up a Christmas song together. Each one has its own scarf and its own personality, and children go home telling everyone which penguin at your garden centre is their favourite.

A Christmas song in three voices
In this adventure the three talking penguins have found the lost letters to Santa and set off to deliver them, singing to keep their spirits up. With soft fur, big eyes and orange beaks they look straight out of a cartoon, and while little ones watch spellbound, parents laugh at their squabbles. Crafted with care in the Menart workshop, these singing penguins bring a corner of the South Pole to your shop’s Christmas display.

Four short clips let you hear the hungriest penguin in the group asking the others for a little stop.

The right answers to your questions
Can the Penguins be hired for Christmas?
Yes, the Penguins can be hired for the Christmas season or bought outright, with a 2-year warranty. The warranty stays valid as long as the control unit and the whole system are inspected only by Menart-authorised operators.
Tell us where you would like the three penguins to sing and for how many weeks, and we will prepare your quote.
Can the Penguins be installed outdoors?
The Penguins are for indoor use, with IP54 certification, and are stored between 10 and 25 °C. With a few adjustments they can sometimes go outdoors: ask Menart via the form at the bottom of the page.
They fit well on a stand at a Christmas fair, in the entrance hall of an aquarium or in the kids’ club of a family hotel, where children follow the whole story.

Do the Penguins come with the polar scenery?
No, the Penguins set includes the three animatronic penguins, the control unit, the push-button panel and the sound system. The snowy trees, the snow and the polar bear you see in the photos can be requested from Menart as a separate display.
Each penguin moves its beak, head, eyelids and wings, and the show, in Italian or English, starts at the press of a button.

How should the Penguins be arranged?
Each penguin measures 90 × 45 × 128 cm (width, depth, height). In a line, at least 80 cm must be left between one penguin and the next, which can be reduced by staggering them, as long as the wings can move freely. A fence at least 150 cm from the public is needed around them. They run on 12 V and 220 V, and assembly is quick and simple with the manual and video instructions.
Are the Penguins suitable for a garden centre?
Yes, the Penguins are at their best in the Christmas department of a garden centre, where children enjoy their own show while parents choose the tree and the decorations.
