Grandpa Bear can be hired for the festive season or bought, with a 2-year warranty that stays valid as long as the control unit and the whole system are inspected only by Menart-authorised operators.

Where can Grandpa Bear be placed?
Grandpa Bear is placed indoors, as the data sheet specifies IP54 certification and temperatures between 10 and 25 °C. With a few adjustments it can sometimes go outdoors: ask Menart via the form at the bottom of the page.
He is at home in a shopping centre concourse, a library or a covered Christmas village, in a quiet spot away from the bustle where his voice can be heard clearly.

Does Grandpa Bear come with his book and glasses?
Yes, Grandpa Bear includes the animatronic with his book, hat and glasses, together with the control unit, the start panel and the sound system.
As he tells fairy tales, stories and Christmas songs, in other languages too, he moves his mouth, head and eyelids, and every story starts at the press of a button.
You can also pair him with Santa Claus asleep in Santa’s bedroom.
How much space does Grandpa Bear need?
Grandpa Bear is 165 cm wide, 80 cm deep and 190 cm high, and must stay at least 150 cm from the public, behind a fence. He runs on 12 V and 220 V, and the manual and video instructions make assembly quick and simple.
Is Grandpa Bear suitable for a bookshop or a toy shop?
Yes, Grandpa Bear fits beside the shelves of children’s books or among the toys, where he becomes the host of the whole department.
